At Parallax Learning Solutions (“PLX”), we are committed to protecting your information and providing a clear, fair approach to course registrations. This page explains how we handle your data and how our no-refund policy works, including options to reschedule or receive a credit toward future offerings.

  • Contact information: such as your name, email address, organization, and role when you register for a course, download resources, or join our email list.
  • Registration details: course selections, dates, and related preferences so we can deliver the right sessions and communications.
  • Payment information: processed securely through trusted third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). PLX does not store your full payment card details on our servers.
  • Usage data: such as basic site analytics or email engagement, used to understand interest in our offerings and improve our services.

1.2 How We Use Your Information

  • To process registrations, send confirmations, course reminders, and access details.
  • To share course materials, follow-up resources, and SHRM PDC information when applicable.
  • To send updates about new cohorts, tools, or related programs you may be interested in. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
  • To analyze interest, improve our curriculum, and strengthen the overall learning experience.

1.3 How We Share Information

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We may share limited data with trusted service providers (such as payment processors, email platforms, or virtual event tools) solely to support registration, communication, and course delivery.
  • We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our participants, partners, or organization.

1.4 Data Security & Retention

  • We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect.
  • We retain registration and participation records as needed for operational, financial, and compliance purposes, including verification of SHRM PDCs when applicable.

1.5 Your Choices

  • You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us directly.

2.1 No-Refund Policy

All course registrations and purchases made through Parallax Learning Solutions are non-refundable. Because we limit cohort sizes, secure faculty and resources in advance, and often provide pre-work or digital materials prior to the session, we are not able to offer cash refunds once a registration is complete.

2.2 Rescheduling Your Participation

If you are unable to attend your original course date, we will make every reasonable effort to help you stay on track.

  • You may request to reschedule into a future cohort of the same course, subject to availability.
  • Reschedule requests should be submitted as early as possible so we can release your seat to another participant if needed.

2.3 Course Credit Option (Valid for 12 Months)

If a reschedule into a future cohort of the same course is not possible or not preferred, we may offer a course credit in lieu of a refund.

  • Course credits are generally equal to the amount of your original registration fee.
  • Credits may be applied toward another eligible PLX course or cohort.
  • All course credits expire 12 months from the date of your original registration.
  • Credits are non-transferable unless explicitly approved in writing by Parallax Learning Solutions.

2.4 Changes, Cancellations, or Reschedules by PLX

On rare occasions, we may need to reschedule or adjust a cohort (for example, due to facilitator availability or insufficient enrollment). In those cases, we will:

  • Notify registered participants as soon as reasonably possible.
  • Offer an alternative date, future cohort, or course credit option.
  • Work with you to identify the best path forward based on your needs and schedule.
